Introduction to Health Occupations took a tour at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital to visit the emergency department and respiratory therapy. Owen Cycoll got an ultrasound and Kaylie Ginder was hooked to a heart monitor.

The Andrew Gobczynski Big Heart Foundation is heart testing the morning of Saturday, October 5 at HSHS St. Anthony from 8 am to noon. Students/parents must fill the packet out and return it to the school office by Friday, September 27th.
HSHS will then contact parents on Monday (September 30), Tuesday (October 1), and Wednesday (October 2) in order to schedule a testing time.
JROTC students, Major Roy Waldhoff, and visiting military personnel help students and staff repel off the RCHS roof as part of class today. Assistant Principal Rylan Rusk and the RCHS Nurse Cheryl Wall gave two thumbs up!
Iconik Studios will be at RCHS on 9/17 for Seniors and 9/18 for Freshmen through Juniors. Seniors are required to wear an undershirt for the tux & drape provided. See photo for more information. Picture make-up dates will be November 14th and February 13th.
Brandon Wingert and Evan Gilreath clean the POW MIA chair. This chair can be seen at all the RCHS football field and is in honor of those men and women who are unaccounted for after war. Thank you to the brave men and women who have sacrificed for our country. You are not forgotten.
Mr. Ellison's Construction and Transportation classes have been staying busy. The white truck pictured was donated to his Transportation Tech classes to work on. The construction classes are building model homes to scale. The Intro to Tech and Engineering class is building model bridges after learning about structural engineering

Wednesday and Thursday's Soccer tournament at Charleston has been rescheduled due to excessive heat. The tournament will now only be played on Saturday morning with Olney games being at 10:30 and 12:00.
The Tiger Golf game, originally scheduled for today, 8/26, is cancelled.
Eleven Richland County High School seniors earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Program. To qualify for the program, students had to earn a GPA of B+ or higher and score in the top 10% of the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test Assessment in the State of Illinois.
