The Board of Education of Richland County Community Unit No. 1, Counties of Richland, Wayne, Clay, Lawrence, and Jasper, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for removal and installation of existing Richland County Elementary School walking path. Installation includes a walking path and connecting sidewalks to RCES (2,480’ long, by 7’ wide, and 5” thick). Bid needs to include removal of existing asphalt walking path, grading of base, forming, curing, and sawing of new fiber reinforced concrete. Concrete spec: 4500 psi stone mix.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission.

Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
Bids shall be received by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Bids will be opened at that time and will be considered by the RCCU #1 Board of Education at the next regular meeting on April 15, 2021.
